Arizona ALFA – The Voice of Assisted Living
Arizona ALFA is a Phoenix-based nonprofit that provides education, information and advocacy for assisted living communities within Arizona.
It has more than 300 members, of which seventy percent are members of Arizona ALFA assisted living centers and professional managed assisted living homes.
The organization answers regulatory questions and provide assistance, education and training to meet state required training mandate, making it easier for its members to conduct business.

Arizona ALFA President & CEO Karen Barno has been leading the way for the organization since its inception 23 years ago. She is one of five founders.
A nationally recognized senior housing expert, Barno has been professionally media trained and can speak to the following topics (to name a few):
